The Lost Ark Beta ran from November 4 to 11, giving fans of the game an exciting week of action, as well as a sneak peek as to what we could expect from the western launch. However, the Lost Ark beta is over and players will be without the game for some time.
Let’s take a look at the next steps on the way to the game’s launch in 2022.
Lost Ark Animated Series: Heroes of Arkesia – November 16
One of the most exciting bits of news surrounding Lost Ark was the reveal of an animated series. Heroes of Arkesia will focus on the Lost Ark story, with its first episode airing very soon: November 16!
We don’t know much more about it just yet, other than that it will feature six episodes. So far, fans are excited about it, both to learn more about the lore, and due to its unique comic book-esque style.
Lost Ark Release – Early 2022
Other than the animated series, there’s not much revealed about Lost Ark just yet. We know that the release is coming sometime in “early 2022”, but that’s about it. This could be anywhere between Jan 01 to March 31, though the sooner the better!
We’ll just have to keep our eyes peeled for any additional information, and we’ll make sure to keep everyone updated as soon as there is any news.
Lessons From Lost Ark Closed Beta
The Lost Ark beta was definitely smoother than expected and it was clear the game was near a finished product, but rough around the edges. In terms of gameplay, most things seemed to be there – the combat was amazing, the abilities all (mostly) worked, and any issues were minor at best, which were quickly worked out.
However, there were some issues. Localization was clearly not finished, especially in the later stages of the game, and after one update, some game-breaking bugs appeared, which stopped players from progressing.
Clearly, some things need to be ironed out, but the game is mostly ready. We’re cautiously optimistic that we’ll see the game sooner rather than later in 2022.
